Helen J. Semus is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Semus Wealth Partners, LLC. Mrs. Semus has an extensive background in comprehensive wealth management. She specializes in managing high-net-worth relationships grounded in tailored investment management and comprehensive financial planning such as retirement planning, income distribution planning, wealth transfer planning, trust and estate planning, business succession and other wealth and income strategies.

Simon joins Semus Wealth Partners after more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in both early research and late-stage clinical development. He has broad skills in data analytics, visualization, reporting and dashboarding and was responsible for introducing and establishing the geospatial analytics capability at GSK. Simon has an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Portsmouth and a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, both in the UK, where he grew up. He is a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Pennsylvania. Simon will be responsible for our company infrastructure, including our portfolio accounting, reporting, client portal plus investment research analytics. In addition, Simon will be working with our team to execute the strategic vision of our firm to serve the best interests of our clients.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys soccer (sadly reducing to only watching, rather than playing), listening to music, watching British crime thrillers, walking and spending time with his wife(!) and their two boys.
Mark earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Management from MIT's Sloan School. He also obtained his CPA certificate after passing the test in 1972.
Mr. Matthews spent 26 years in the U.S. Foreign Service obtaining the rank of Minister Counselor, served as the Deputy CFO of U.S. Agency for International Development, and was the Director of the Omani American Joint Commission in Muscat, Oman. Upon his retirement from USAID, he served for 8 years as the CFO of the Pan American Health Organization (a regional office of the World Health Organization) and after was the Director of Administration and Finance for the Regional Office for the Western Pacific of WHO. Mark retired from the United Nations and then went to work for Morgan Stanley as a financial adviser. After successfully working in their Ft. Lauderdale Office, he started his own practice in association with Ameriprise Financial and now joins Semus Wealth Partners, LLC.
