Helen J. Semus is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Semus Wealth Partners, LLC. Mrs. Semus has an extensive background in comprehensive wealth management. She specializes in managing high-net-worth relationships grounded in tailored investment management and comprehensive financial planning such as retirement planning, income distribution planning, wealth transfer planning, trust and estate planning, business succession and other wealth and income strategies, etc.

Helen graduated with a B.S in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China in 1988. She came to United States in 1990 to pursue graduate studies. She received a M.S. in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1992 and a M.S. in Molecular Biology from University of Rochester in 1996. After that, Helen spent 13 years in the software and technology field in various professional roles where she honed her leadership skills in managing diverse teams and maintaining long term relationships. Helen started her professional wealth management career in 2009. She has truly found her passion in life - helping those she cares about secure their present and future, together.

Helen is a Certificate Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of Financial Planning Association (FPA). She also holds Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor℠ (APMA®) and Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ (AAMS®) professional designations. Helen is a member of Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council (https://www.bocaratonepc.org/). Helen has received numerous professional awards such as the small business owner of the year by Score, Five Star Wealth Manager by Five Star Professional, etc.

Helen is passionate about giving back to the community. She is the past Chairman of The Board of Safe Harbor of Chester County (http://www.safeharborofgwc.org/index.html ). She is a past board member and treasurer of the Chester County Women's Commission (http://www.ccwomenscommission.org/ ). She is a past member and board member of the Greater West Chester Sunrise Rotary Club. She is a past board member of the Friends of the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library (http://hankinlibraryfriends.org).

Helen has been married more than 24 years, to Simon, and they have two sons. In her spare time, Helen loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys art, movies, hiking, golf, tennis and bridge.
